This past week students learned about snowflakes and how they are formed. We first created paper snowflakes and then we tried a website called Make a Flake to make digital snowflakes. I also showed students the app My Flake, but since we don't have iPads, they weren't able to try it out. They really thought it was cool looking though!!
I was looking through other art teachers galleries on Artsonia and I came across this free app Carve a Pumpkin. Students loved the idea of trying to "carve" a pumpkin without the mess. It also tied in beautifully with our unit of 2D and 3D art. Check out the students work and don't forget to comment on your favorites artists work! |
