Steve Jobs and those at Apple said that the iPad was created for consumption, more of what you took from it. They said that one would not be able to create on it like they do on a regular computer. Funny how if you put iPads in the Art room and the students have a chance to work with them you will see some great and creative products. Whether the students are creating funny portraits or blended learning (creating typical art and bringing it into the digital work) there is a lot of creativity happening. Some of my students favorite apps are Faces iMake, Puppet Pals, Phantasy, Facejack, Sculptor, and DoInk. Might be worth checking out! If you want to know what app your child has been using in the Art room feel free to drop me a line or check it out on the website. In the meantime, enjoy a sample of art using Faces iMake and Phantasy or check out our “Our Gallery” to see more examples. |
